It lists major residential development sites that are actively contributing dwellings within your selected forecast period, and shows each site's expected contribution to dwelling growth in your area.

Key Concepts

Site name and address

Each row represents a single residential development site, identified by its researched name and physical address. Sites are sourced from .id's National Forecasting Program residential development research.

Start year

The first year within the forecast period in which the site begins delivering dwellings.

Completion year

The year by which all dwellings at the site are expected to be delivered within the forecast.

Assumed site capacity

The total number of dwellings the site is expected to deliver at full buildout. 

Net dwelling change

The number of dwellings the site contributes within your selected forecast period. This is the figure used to colour-code sites on the map view.

Status

Status What it means
Complete Construction is finished and dwellings have been delivered.
Under construction The site is actively being built.
Site clearing Site preparation is underway. Dwelling construction has not yet commenced.
Marketing The development is being marketed or sold. Construction has not yet commenced.
Approved A planning permit has been granted. Construction has not yet commenced.
Pre-approved / Lapsed The site is either awaiting a planning permit, or a previously granted permit has lapsed.
Structure plan / under-utilised med-high density The site is identified for medium to high density development under a structure plan.
Under-utilised low density The site has been identified as under-utilised land with potential for low density development.
Speculative / Unzoned The site represents speculative development potential or is not yet zoned for residential development.
