Local Government suite: June 2026 updates

This month's releases introduced a free login for the Informed Decisions Local Government suite and several data updates.

What's new

New login experience for the Local Government suite

Users are now prompted to sign up or log in to interact with tools in the Local Government suite. This change supports modern data and site security, enables ongoing community access, and creates a better understanding of the overall usage of the tools.

Data updates

Economic indicators by quarter

The quarterly breakdown of Economic Indicators has been published to the June 2025 quarter on all Economic Profiles.

Business locations and trends

ABR-based local business locations and trends over time information have been updated to March 2026 on all Economic Profiles.

Monthly data updates

• Building approvals: Community Profiles, Economic Profiles, Housing Monitor
