How to prepare your Placemaker member list

Prepare a CSV or TXT file of the people who need Placemaker access, so your .id account manager can add them.

What .id needs to add your team to Placemaker

Send your account manager a file of the people who need Placemaker access, and they'll add them for you.

What to send

A CSV or TXT file with a header row and three columns:

First Name Last Name Email
John Smith jsmith@id.com.au
  • Include the header row. Without it the first person on your list won't be read.
  • Up to 100 people per file. If you have more, send a second file.
  • Every email address must be at your organisation's domain. Personal addresses can't be added.

Note: nobody is emailed when they're added. Placemaker members sign in with their work email through single sign-on, with no password to set up, so let your team know once .id confirms they have access.

Steps

  1. List the people who need access: record first name, last name and work email address for each person.
  2. Save the list: use a CSV or TXT file with the header row above.
  3. Email the file to your .id account manager.
  4. Wait for confirmation: your account manager confirms by email once everyone has been added.

What to Expect

Everyone on your list can sign in to Placemaker with their work email address as soon as your account manager confirms. There is no invitation email, so tell your team directly that Placemaker is available to them.

Troubleshooting

  • Someone on your list uses a personal email address, such as Gmail or Outlook.com: they can't be added. Send their work email address instead.
  • Someone is a consultant or contractor on a different domain: they can't be added to your organisation yet. Talk to your account manager about options.
