I can't share a catchment in Placemaker

Understand why catchment sharing is not yet available in Placemaker and what you can do to work around it.

Symptoms

You want to share a catchment with a colleague in Placemaker but cannot find a share option.

Cause

Placemaker does not yet support catchment sharing. The feature existed in legacy Placemaker and is planned for a future release.

Resolution

Until catchment sharing is available, the following workarounds may help:

  • Export and share the data: Export the insights data from your catchment and share the export file with your colleague. See How to export data from Placemaker.
  • Recreate in a shared account: If your colleague needs ongoing access to the catchment, they can recreate it in their own account using the same location and method.
