Before contacting support
Check the Placemaker knowledge base first. Most common questions are answered there.

Contacting support
If you can't find an answer in the knowledge base, contact the .id support team by email:
The support team responds during business hours AEST, within the timeframe set out in your contract.
How .id prioritises issues
| Issue type | How it is treated |
|---|---|
| Data is incorrect with no workaround | Treated as critical. Addressed as a priority. |
| Data appears incorrect but a workaround exists | Rectified within a short period. |
| Bug that does not block your work, or a product preference | Prioritised in a future release. |
Reporting a bug
When reporting a bug, include as much detail as you can:
- What happened
- What you expected to happen
- The steps to reproduce the issue
- Screenshots or a screen recording (optional)
Sharing feedback or an improvement idea
You can send feedback directly from Placemaker. From the menu at the top right of the screen, select Feedback. Your feedback goes to the Placemaker product manager and is reviewed for the product roadmap. You can also email support@id.com.au.
When sharing feedback or a suggestion, please include:
- What you are trying to achieve
- What is getting in your way
- How you are handling it today
- How often it comes up
- What would change if it were solved
Feedback from customers directly shapes the product roadmap.
